A mundane morning turns surreal when Kimani Williams wakes up to inexplicable changes to her body.

What’s more, her boyfriend seems surprised to see her.

Something happened the night before that lurks at the periphery of her mind and the town that she knows and loves is different, the streets empty and devoid of life.

A trip to the mall and retail therapy won’t fix the looming sense that nothing may ever be right again.
It is only the odd little office next to the Hallmark store that holds the secrets to Kimani’s changed world, because reality she will learn, just might be the next commodity.

A dyshexic witch? Check.
Vengeful fairies? Double check.
An impossible quest? Triple check.

Stuck in a thirteen-year-old’s body and cursed to live amongst humans, Alice hates being a half witch and doesn’t think her life can get much worse. But then she meets Montana, a fiery young witch who suffers from dyshexia, a condition that reverses spells with disastrous consequences. To be cured, Montana must go to the fairies to fix her dangerous magical blunders. Yet stubborn Montana refuses and, instead, joins a shrewd pair of televangelists at their cult-like bible camp. Certain that Jesus is a powerful wizard who can solve her problem, Montana is determined to meet him.

Frustrated with Montana’s unwillingness to cooperate, the fairies kidnap Alice’s mother and threaten to disperse her to the four winds unless Alice can convince Montana to turn herself in.
But Montana won’t stop her quest to find Jesus that easily, and Alice soon gets tangled up in Montana’s crazy adventures.

Will Alice succeed in her mission or will she lose the one person she cares about the most?

A clandestine warlock. Lust-crazed sirens. And a toilet that is a coveted portal. Prepare to be flushed away by this paranormal comedy.

The fairies have come to collect their favor: Alice must return a warlock to the fairy realm, a task easier said than done. Stolen by a siren when he was a child, Simon has no idea he’s a warlock. Worse, Simon can only re-enter the fairy realm by jumping into a man-sized toilet of his own free will and without discovering that he’s part of the magical community.

But the siren won’t let either happen. Feeding off of Simon’s sensitive nature, she uses him to become corporeal in the earthly realm. And if the Siren manages to take possession of other souls, her sisters will join her to unleash a seduction catastrophe that LA has never seen before.

With the siren never letting Simon out of her sight, Alice has a hard time gaining Simon’s trust and even a harder time convincing him to jump into a man-sized toilet. And it doesn’t help that the growing attraction between them causes them to be plagued by shadowy demonic birds called harpies, among other dark messengers of the siren.

Can Alice find it in herself to turn in the very man she’s irresistibly drawn to? Or will she condemn all of LA to a terrible fate?

A pesky demon, a best friend who has vanished and no one remembers ever existed, a mother suffering from melancholia and willful blindness, these are just some of the problems that have Martha Jane Lewis baffled, befuddled, and bewildered.

When Martha stumbles upon a strange gingerbread house she’s never noticed before and the odd sign advertising Reality for Sale, her curiosity gets the better of her, and she decides to stop in.

It is in the queer little house that she meets Mr. Thomas, manager of The God Store and employee of Hades Inc. Maybe Mr. Thomas can help Martha discover why things are suddenly upside down in her world, that is, if she even is in her world.

An allegorical tale of bigotry.
